The Slocan was opened in 1974 as a Greek Diner serving up American classics with some Greek tag a longs. A Greek owner just cant resist serving up his favorite Greek classics as he has to eat there of course! In any case, The Slocan is the neighborhood go to place for residents, workers, truckers, longshoreman, PNE workers and attendees, plumbers etc...You get the picture. Tasoe is the fifth Greek guy to own The Slocan.
